Sleeping & Waking Up Du’aa

Hudhayfa and Abu Dharr reported that when the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) wanted to sleep he would say:

Bi’ismika ‘allãhumma ‘amootu wa ‘ahyã

In Your name O Allaah, I live and die

And when he woke up he said:

Alhamdulilla-hila-thee ah’ yaa naa, ba’ da maa, a maa ta naa, wa e lay hino shurr

All praise is for Allaah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the Resurrection. [Hadith Bukhari]

This picture has nothing to do with the hadith (the du’aa is for humans!), … but I just wanted to share this picture with you of this beautiful cat sleeping — TabarakAllah!
