“…It may well be that You dislike something in which Allah has placed in it much Khayr (good and benefit).” [Surah An-Nisa; 19]

The Messenger (SA) said: “The Believer is not afflicted with illness or hardship, even if it be a worry that troubles him, or a thorn that pricks him, except that his sins would be expiated as a result of it.” [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

He (SA) said: “..Man will be tested according to the Strength of his Eman..the believer will be continually tested untill he walks upon the Earth with all his sins Forgiven.” [Al-Bukhari]

He (SA) also said: “The example of the believer is like the stem fresh tender plant, the wind causing it to bend sometimes, fall over sometimes & stands upright at others untill it withers and dies”. [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Part 2

‘Ali (RA) said: “Son of Adam! Do not rejoice at wealth & do not despair at poverty. Do not become hopeless at the onset of tribulations, & do not rejoice at the onset of ease, for gold is refined through fire, & Righteous Servants is refined through tribulations. You will not attain what You want Except by leaving what you desire, & You will not reach what You Aspire to, Except through Sabr (Patience), So expend all Your efforts in carefully fulfilling the duties made obligatory upon You.”

Imam Al-Gazzali said: “If You see Al-’Asees Al-Hakeem (SwT), holding back this world from You, frequently trying You with adversity & tribulations, Know that You hold A Great Status with Him (‘AwJ). Know that He (‘AwJ) is with Yourself as He (SwT) does this with His Awliya (Friends) & chosen elite, & is Watching over You. Have You not heard His (SwT’s) saying: “Thereby wait Patiently (& Steadfastly) for the Judgement of Your Rabb, You are Cartainly before Our Eyes. [Surah At-Tur,48]? Therefore acknowledge this Great Favour upon You!”

The catastrophe became eminent in 1924
The might of Islam’s Khilafah was no more
The world cornered the Muslims after depleting our core
They took out their militaries and came knocking on our doors
They then began to invade our countries from every shore
They taught us nationalism, tribalism and our unity was out the door
They made us pledge to useless flags and brought their kufr to our lands
They showed us their culture and we became instant fans
We abandoned our religion and so Allah abandoned us
We broke our deal with Allah within our mutual trust
We were supposed to remain obedient and in Allah place our trust
But we fell into sins and were betrayed by our lust
Allah sent us a Messenger who taught us success:
To aim for Jannah and love this dunya much less
But we took the blessings of honor and power for granted
So when we strayed from Islam, a wake-up call we were handed
The troops of the devil in our nations quickly landed
To colonize the Muslims, with their kufr so candid
But we still didn’t learn and so soon we became related
They were far from Allah and Islam is what they hated
We, too loved this Dunya, and our Iman had long faded
We didn’t realize that the gates of Jannah are gated
Earning Jannah means putting desires to the side
If we expect the gates of Paradise to open for us wide
But since we abandoned Allah and forgot our religion
Allah says Be and so He carries out His decision
The worst amongst us were made to lead us
But they, too were oppressors and didn’t even feed us
Allah withdrew our Khilafah and woke us up to a reality
That our success is with Allah and not with ethnic principalities
That we need to put our ethnicities and worldly love to the side
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah, not swimming with the tide
Our return to success as an Ummah resides
In following the Prophets’ and Sahaba’s lives
In learning about and adhering sternly to the Qur’an and the Sunnah
And implementing Allah’s laws collectively as an Ummah
To rise back to the top, we must return to our Deen
Beginning with our own individual beings
Then move onto our families, communites, and nations
Establishing with Allah the best of relations
So let’s invest in the Aakhira instead of over-enjoying life
And be prepared for this means considerable strife
The hatred from the mouths of the kuffar continues to emanate
The time is for Jihad, and Salam to the Believers who participate
Allah’s Messenger, Sal-Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam said
That the Kuffar would attack and Muslim blood would be shed
Because we’re obsessed with the Dunya and abandoned Jihad
That we love this life and would hate to be dead
And until we return to our Deen, this condition remains
That we stand humiliated until we rethink our aims
We are here to establish Islam on this Earth
So by the Will of Allah, let’s give Islam a rebirth!

The BEST in life!!!!!

I don’t know about you, but I want to be the best! I want the best education, I want the best car, I want to go on the best holidays, I want the best looking children, I want the best house, the best job. My aim is to simply be the BEST in life!!

Nowadays most people aim for most if not all the things above and often even more. No matter where we turn we see people seeking wealth and striving to attain rank and position in relation to worldly things to such an extent that the people’s visions have become blurred and priorities mixed up. We live in a time where we are under enormous pressure to do well in all aspects of our lives. It begins from childhood, where children are pressured to do well academically, to compete and get top marks to become professionals, doctors, lawyers, etc and then to get the best jobs and are further encouraged to live luxurious lifestyles. This is all ok and great for the life of this world but what about preparation for the hereafter? Did our beloved Prophet (PBUH) not say, “He who loves his worldly life will harm his hereafter, and he who loves his hereafter will harm his worldly life. Give preference to that which is eternal over that which is temporary”. Hadith of Ahmed Ibn Hambal on the authority of Abu Musa Al Ash’Ari.

So whilst we should aim for success in this life we should also think about what can we do to please our Magnificent Creator. How can we be the BEST in the eyes of Almighty Allah? What can we do to gain a high rank in Paradise where there will be everlasting bliss? Our beloved Prophet’s (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teachings constitute the most comprehensive, practical, sensible and truthful guidance to all people in all walks of life and in all conditions of human endeavour. The narrations (Hadith) of our Prophet (PBUH) combined with the Laws of Allah SWT give proper guidance to mans physical, economic, political, socio-cultural, educational, moral and spiritual being. Below are only 50 of hundreds of authentic ahadith by the very best of Allah’s creation, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which if followed will help us work towards being the BEST in both this life and the hereafter.

So go on, be remarkable, be extraordinary, be phenomenal, be the BEST!!!!

1. “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari, Sahih)
2. The best of the prayer lines for men are the first rows, the worst being the final rows. The best of the prayer lines for women are the final rows and the worst are the first rows.” (Muslim)
3. “The best of which man can leave behind for himself are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, an ongoing charity whose reward continues to reach him and knowledge which others benefit from after him.” (Ibn Hibban, Hasan)
4. “The best of you are the best of you in fulfilling (rights).” (Ahmad, Sahih)
5. “The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best of you to my family.” (Tirmidhi, Sahih)
6. “The best prayers for women are those performed in the most secluded parts of their houses.” (Ibn Khuzaymah, Sahih)
7. “The best of people are those who are best in fulfilling (rights).” (Ibn Majah, Sahih)
8. “The best of the world’s women are four: Maryum bint Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad and Asiyah the wife of Fir’awn.” (Ahmad, Sahih)
9. The best day on which the Sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it Adam was made to enter Paradise and on it he was expelled. The Hour will not be established except on Friday.” (Muslim)
10. The best of people in recitation are those who when they recite, you see that they fear Allah.” (Bayhaqi, Sahih)
11. “The best of your leaders are those that you love and they love you, you supplicate for them and they supplicate for you. The worst of your leaders are those that you hate and they hate you, you curse them and they curse you.” (Muslim)
12. “The best of you are those who are best in paying off their debts.” (Tahawi, Sahih)
13. “The best of you are those with the longest lives and most excellent character.” (Bazzar, Sahih)
14. “The best of you are those with the longest lives and best in action.” (Hakim, Sahih)
15. “The most beloved of deeds according to Allah is that you die and yet your tongue is still moist from the remembrance of Allah.” (Ibn Hibban, Hasan)
16. “The best of you are those who are best to their wives.” (Tirmidhi, Sahih)
17. Narated By ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr : That Allah’s Apostle said, “There are forty virtuous deeds and the best of them is the Maniha of a she-goat, and anyone who does one of these virtuous deeds hoping for Allah’s reward with firm confidence that he will get it, then Allah will make him enter Paradise because of it “(Bukhari)
18. Narated By Abu Huraira : A man asked the Prophet, “O Allah’s Apostle! What kind of charity is the best?” He replied. “To give in charity when you are healthy and greedy hoping to be wealthy and afraid of becoming poor. Don’t delay giving in charity till the time when you are on the death bed when you say, ‘Give so much to so-and-so and so much to so-and so,’ and at that time the property is not yours but it belongs to so-and-so (i.e. your inheritors).” (Bukhari)
19. “The best of companions according to Allah are those who are best to their companion and the best of neighbours according to Allah are those that are best to their neighbour.” (Tirmidhi, Sahih)
20. “The best of places are the Mosques and the worst of places are the markets.” (Tabarani, Hasan)
21. “The best supplication on the Day of Arafah and the best thing that I and the Prophets before me ever said was, “La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ala kulli shayin Qadir.”" (Tirmidhi, Hasan)
22. “The most beloved words according to Allah the Most High are four: Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar; (Muslim)
23. “The best testimony is when one gives it before he is asked to do so.” (Tabarani, Sahih)
24. “The best of dowries are the easiest.” (Hakim, Sahih)
25. “The most beloved dish according to Allah is that which most hands feed from.” (Ibn Hibban, Hasan)
26. “The most beloved servant of Allah is he who is most beneficial to his dependents.” (Zawaid al-Zuhd, Hasan)
27. “The best of earnings is that of the labourer as long as he tries his best.” (Ahmad, Hasan)
28. “The best of all deeds is the Prayer in its right time, to treat the Parents honourably and Jihad in the path of Allah.” (al-Khatib, Sahih)
29. “The best of all deeds is that you bring happiness to your Muslim brother, pay off his debt or feed him bread.” (Ibn Adiyy, Hasan)
30. “The best of faith is patience and magnanimity.” (Ahmad, Sahih)
31. The best word of remembrance is: La ilaha illallah and the best supplication is: Al-hamdu lillah. (Tirmidhi, Hasan)
32. Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri: Someone asked Allah’s Messenger: “Who is the best man?” He answered, “A believer who strives in th
33. Cause of Allah with his life and his wealth.” The man asked: “Who is the next?” He said, “One who retires into a narrow valley and worship his Lord.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
34. “The best of hours are those deep in the latter part of the night.” (Tabarani, Sahih)
35. “The most beloved of speech according to Allah is when the servant says, Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi (How Transcendent is Allah and we praise him!).” (Muslim)
36. “The best prayer after the obligatory ones is the prayer in the depth of the night, and the best fast after the month of Ramadhan is the month of Allah, Muharram.” (Muslim)
37. “The best prayer is the prayer of the man in his home except for the obligatory prayer.”(Nasai, Sahih)

39. “The best of all prayers according to Allah is the Friday morning prayer in congregation.” (Ibn Nuaym, Sahih)
40. “The best fast is the fast of my brother Dawud; he would fast every alternate day and he would never flee (the battlefront) when the armies would meet.” (Tirmidhi, Sahih)

I was listening to this lecture and the speaker mentioned the following beautiful words spoken by one of our great role models.. Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) and his reply to a man saying bad words to him:

“If what you say about me is true, may Allah forgive me, and if what you say is not true, may Allah forgive you”

“When Allah said he selected all of you, meaning this Ummah, anybody who says “la illaha ilalllah Muhammadur RasoolAllah” that they have been selected as Allah sees something in them that qualifies them for service to this deen”

Getting Jannah is not hard to achieve
All you have to do is be strong and beliveGetting up tp pray at night shouldnt be a fight
cuz you know it will be alriteFasting in Ramadan every day
will make your Iman as bright as the sun rayWearing my hijab as proud as can be
they can say what they want but only Allah can judge me

The prohets example is what we should follow
Or else our heart will be empty and hollow

Read the Quran if youre ever in need
Make Dua and you will surely succeed

Dont get caught up in the game,
fighting for drugs, money and fame
in the end it will it will bring you shame
And hey, THATS LAME!

Getting Jannah is not hard to achieve
All you have to do is ….

Everybody in this world has a goal
To reach Jannah and have a heavenly soul

But trying to reach there aint easy
You gotta work hard, stuggle and not be so sleezyYou have to fullfill what youre told to do

Beware of the Shaitan because hes always trying to keep you down
On the Day Of Judgement your smile might turn into a frown

Be precious and pure
Because His way is the only cure

Reaching Jannah aint easy
Because the pressures are increasing

May Allah guide us all to the right path
And save us all from his wrath.

Attaining Jannah

Getting Jannah may seem difficult these days
Yet we shouldnt give up because we can get there in many waysMuslims need to be devoted and put aside their greed
Piling up the good deeds and planting this beautiful seedWe need to increase our salat, dhikr and sawn
Lets not forget the Pharohs haridresser with her combAs she boldly stood infront of Pherown and testified her deen
She was brutally beaten and tortured not knowing that in Jannah she truly will be the Queen

Who cares about looking tough and impressing the people
We wont get rewads be wasting our time singing by the Church steeple

Allah Subahanah is most merciful indeed
Work hard in this dunyah and he will fulfill this magnificent creed

The struggle in this life will be worth it in the end
Resisting temptations our Iman will never bend

Rivers flowing of honey, sand filled with pebbles gold and gardens galore
This beautiful creation made for us above the earth, Who could ask for anymore?

Allah promises us Jannah if we obey his commands
Lets drop these flawed pleasures and obey His wonderful demands

So in the end nothing we have in this life will really count,
except for the ajar we have earned so lets work hard, and let these good deed amount!

As Long As You Are Not Angry With Me Then I Do Not Care

As long as You are not angry with me then I do not care
For me is the model of Musab bin Umayr
The best dressed man in the city
But that was for him a state of pity
Until there came to him the Message
All did he leave of his privilege
For the sake of Allah and His Beloved

As long as You are not angry with me then I do not care
For I think of Bilal when his chest was bare
On the burning sand did they make him lie
Until he thought he was going to die
They crushed him with rocks in the blazing sun
And begged him to reject the Almighty One
But never did he give in to the wicked

As long as You are not angry with me then I do not care
I remember Khabbaab when they pulled his hair
In the blacksmiths of his evil mistress
With burning rods did she cause him distress
She twisted his neck and burnt his skin
Until his fat dripped into a tin
But he remained firm to his belief as long as he lived

As long as You are not angry with me then I do not care
For I picture Khubaib when he was there
Tied and bound to an immovable tree
With no chance of him being free
Their spears and arrows did they fling
Yet grapes to him did his Lord bring
Until his noble soul was lifted

As long as You are not angry with me then I do not care
I think of Yasir, Sumaiyah and their heir
Even when placed on sizzling ember
None but their Lord did they remember
Patience you all when paying this price
Indeed your abode is Paradise
As a reward for all that you did.

As long as You are not angry with me, then I do not care
My example is Your Beloved when struck from the rear
By the sticks and stones of Taif’s crowd
Yet he did cry in a voice so loud:
“O Lord! Forgive my people for they do not know,”
And even thought I am feeling so low…
As long as You are not angry with me, then I do not care.

The start of any nation’s end is when they replace justice with injustice.

…In the Name of Allah, Most Beneficent the Most Merciful…

Have I sewn the seed
of a good deed
planted trees of musk
refrained from lust
Have I shown love
to the One above
Have I controlled my desire
to reach a status that is Higher
Have I lived the Sunnah
to dream of Jannah
Have I set my soul free
from Shaytaan hurting me
Have I cried and used a tear
making death my greatest fear
Have I seen through the wrong
enjoining good all along
Have I made the Qur’an my goal
cleansing my soul
Have I shown kindness to my parents
performed Hajj going to Mina tents
Have I showed gratitude to my Lord
making Eemaan as my greatest Sword
Have I abstained from the Haraam
managing my anger till I’m calm
Have I remained patient and persevered
as calamity’s neared
Have I responded to the call of prayer
living life as a stranger
Have I questioned my actions
about making transactions
Have I indulged in gossip
or gave backbiters a tip
Have I given to those in need and deprivation
spreading my wealth beyond the nation
Have I hated the Dunya and its delusions
or forgot that the beauty that it contains are only illusions
Have I lived to say
I did pray..
Have I made it easy and clear
that the Akhirah is more dear
Have I really sewn the seed
of a good deed..
Before its too late..
HAVE I DETERMINED MY FATE?

O Muslim, lawful things have good attributes,

Where is the good in singing, dancing and listening to flutes?

Can we compare the words of singers and sounds of Musicians,

To the Glorious Quran, its lessons, wisdoms and admonitions?

How many singers do you know and give admiration,

And how many do you know of the companions and the following generation?

How much do you spend on singers from your dollars?

Compared to how many you know of Islamic Scholars.

Do you see how much is memorized of Music songs?

While you ignore the book to which memorization belongs?

How much do you memorize of these incantations?

And swayed back and forth in intoxication?

Have you not seen those who follow the misguided?

And increase the loudness of the Music, when they should hide it?

And who writes their songs? thinkers, or men of academia?

Or maybe scholars, like Ahmad, Malik or maybe ibn Taymiyah.

O you who listens to music..

Don’t you see that All the songs of the world and all the lyrics you’ve seen

Wouldn’t compare in reward to Alif Laam Meem

I advice you with being together, and making your hearts be together..

And looking for the means that will bring your hearts together..

That you love one another based on your love of Allah SWT..

And your love of His Messenger SAW..

And that you come together to defend the Deen of Allah..

And it is upon you all that you have strong bonds between each other and that you advice one another..

That everything and every deficiency you see in your brother..

You realise that it is actually a deficiency in yourself..

And it is as Allah SWT says “And indeed this Ummah of yours in one Ummah so worship me”
