Gain the reward for fasting the whole of this year.

It is authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah ( sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “whoever fasts the month of Ramadan and then follows this with six days of Shawwal, it will be as if he fasted the whole year” [Muslim]

Why not take the opportunity to fast six days in this month which is now already 4 days old? Allah Azzawajal only knows if you will see this month again, or even the rest of this year, so why not take the reward for fasting it.

Therefore please accept this invitation to fast and share it with those who you know

NB: Make sure to make up those fasts missed from this Ramadan (if any are required) before fasting the 6 of Shawwal, as they are obligatory and thus take priority.
