Easy Great Deed #1 – Remove an obstacle

Asalaamualaykum everyone,

Inshaa Allah you are doing exceptionally great, and keeping steadfast after Ramadan.

May Allah protect us from the evil whispers of the Shayateen (devils) who are constantly trying to divert us from the right path and from obeying Allah. Ameen.

I came across some really easy deeds from the sunnan of Rasool Allah (s) that we can do for the sake of Allah SWT ……that come with enormous rewards, not to be missed!

Insha Allah through implementing these “easy deeds” will serve as a great means to increase our knowledge and ultimately strive to do as many good deeds as we can do in the short lives we have to grow closer to our Lord, Allah Subhana.

So Here Goes……

Easy Great Deed #1

Remove An Obstacle

The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,

“Belief has over sixty branches. The best of them is the words “La ilaha illalllah” (There is none worthy of worship except Allah) and the least of them is to remove an obstacle from the road.” [Agreed upon]

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,

Sadaqa (charity) is owed on every limb people have every day on which the sun rises, someone establishing justice between two people is sadaqa. To help a man with his animal and help him onto it is sadaqa, or to lift his goods onto it is sadaqa. A good word is sadaqa. Every step you take to the prayer is sadaqa. Removing an obstacle from the road is sadaqa.” [Agreed]

Take Action Today!

1. Identify the obstacle to be removed :)

2. Then Just Go Move It!

Always remember the following 2 conditions, as they need to be met for any deed to be accepted by Allah:

  1. It must be done solely and sincerely for Allah SWT, seeking His Pleasure and Reward only.
  2. It must be done in a manner instructed to us by Allah and His Messenger (s) i.e. in accordance to the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, and not by any other way.

Have A Great Day Folks!
